Home Schooling Is a Good Choice for Christian Parenting
If you want to impart a Christian parenting style to your children, home schooling may be good option for you. Laws of the United States of America do not allow mixing up the affairs of the state and religion and hence religion is not taught in schools. Only way to impart Christian parenting style is home schooling.
Faith and Academics
Under the Clinton Directive in 1995, schools can teach about religion in social studies classes and the like but they should be in general. This keeps the advocates of Christian parenting and other faiths as well often contemplate to resort to home schooling so that they can provide their children with a well rounded education with academics, extra curricular activities as well as religious based knowledge.
The Son Light education curriculum is very popular among home schoolers and one reason for this is it integrates Christianity with academics. One parent will need to be home full time if you plan on home schooling and while a college degree is not a must, different states have different regulations as far as home schooling is concerned.

You can ask your church if they recommend a particular curriculum for Christian parenting home schooling or you can look online for support groups. Do not be surprised if some like minded Christian parenting school of thought families live in your area. You can then work together to instill the moral values you want in your children while still letting them have the social time they need. Home schooling is no longer just about sitting around the kitchen table doing lessons. Whether you take the Christian parenting approach or not, thanks to the internet, the learning process is more hands-on now with audio visual supplements to books, lots of field trips, music, art, sports and the like.
Christian parents and other home schooling parents often utilize the resources at the local park districts for gym, science labs and other such activities that they may not be able to provide in a home setting.
